ActroidActroid is a humanoid robot with human-like appearance that actually developed by Osaka University and manufactured by Kokoro Company Ltd. [disvisi animatorik Sanrio] was first introduced at the 2003 International Robot Exposition in Tokyo, Japan.
Many products with different versions were created afterwards. Usually the robot is made such that it akin to a young woman of Japanese descent.
