Advanced Bird Shaped Robot from Japan
Sophisticated Birds Shaped Robot has been developed in Japan, the robot birds can fly and move freely assisted by a micro motor that became a major power. The size of the bird robot is similar to a real hummingbird bird, but this robot has four flapping wings that can be very quickly, the Japanese robotic technology has broken the world record.
This unique robot weighs 2.6 grams, can fly 8 times more stable than a helicopter with propellers. This bird robot is controlled by an infrared sensor and can move up, down, right or left.
Hiroshi Liu plans to make it to silent hovering in the air at one point, and equip it with a micro camera in March 2011.
The cost of developing this little robot bird apparently big enough to cost 200 million yen ($ 2.1 million), can be used to help rescue people trapped in destroyed buildings, search for criminals or even operate as a probe vehicle on Mars. But large enough to see the benefit and for the development of information technology in the future, the price of $ 2.1 million does not mean anything.
