As reported by Panasonic, in his video, shaped humanoid robot Evolta present an interesting little two-wheeled cart style medieval daihachiguruma, Japan.

With speeds of two to three meters per hour, the robot is controlled with a remote control is expected to arrive in Kyoto on December 10, 2010, after traveling for approximately 49 days.

Evolta is scheduled to roam the streets of this historic Tokaido legendary and ancient route linking Tokyo and Kyoto. The tradition of traveling by foot has been celebrated for centuries by artists in Japan. This is also done by Evolta.
