RIBA: Robot Holding His job at the Hospital Patient
RIBA (Robot for Interactive Body Assistance) is a robot created by Japan Institute of Physical and Chemical Research (RIKEN), which is devoted to lifting or carrying precisely the patients in the hospital.
RIBA will be accompany the sisters who usually are difficult to lift a patient from / to the top of the bed.
In addition to holding the patient, RIBA is also equipped with Face and Voice recognition where RIBA able to run through voice commands and recognize the sisters or the people who work in hospitals.
Unfortunately RIBA weighing up to 180 kg was only able to carry a patient weighing up to 61 kg.
