Ecobot III robot that could Eating and pooping
Have you ever imagined a robot that can eat? even sorry, bowel movements? Apparently there is research and research bizarre but also realistic to develop a robot that is not plugged into electricity or using other resources such as gasoline, methanol or what Grandpa, but can digest and get energy from organic food.
The researchers from the University of Bristol serving robot named Ecobot III can utilize 48 microbial cells to process organic waste. These microbes will digest it and then the robot will extract energy from microbes to harvest electrons from the microbes. And extracted enough energy enables the robot to move.
